A custom lanyard is one of the cheapest branded surfaces available, and one of the very few that people wear facing outwards for an entire event. That combination is why almost every conference, training programme and corporate gathering uses them.
What a custom lanyard can carry
Because the print runs the full length of the strap on both sides, a lanyard has room for more than a logo. Event names, dates, hashtags and sponsor marks all fit comfortably — and sponsors will often pay for the placement, which can cover the production cost outright.
Choosing a specification
Width
Narrow straps suit simple logos; wider straps are needed if you want sponsor logos or an event name to remain legible.
Material
Polyester is the reliable default. Satin looks more premium; nylon lasts longer; tissue is the cheapest at volume.
Attachment
Metal hooks, plastic clips, key rings and detachable card connectors are all available, and a safety breakaway buckle is worth specifying wherever lanyards are worn around machinery or by children.
Print quality
Sublimation printing bonds ink into the fibre rather than sitting on top of it, so the colours do not crack or wear off with handling. Screen printing is available for simple one or two-colour designs at lower cost, though the print sits on the surface and wears faster.
Ordering custom lanyards
Send us your artwork, the quantity and the width you want. We will return a mockup showing how the design repeats along the strap, plus pricing and a production schedule.
