In a competitive market, promotion is what builds brand awareness and holds a customer's attention. The keychain remains one of the most cost-effective ways of doing it: cheap per unit, carried every day, and almost never thrown away.
What promotional keychains do well
Building brand awareness
Keys are handled several times a day, in the office, at home and in public. Few items get taken out and looked at as often.
Cost-effective promotion
The unit cost is low enough to distribute in volume, which makes keychains practical for exhibitions, open days and large mailings.
Flexibility
They can be produced in almost any shape, which means the keychain itself can echo your product or logo rather than just carrying it.
A positive impression
A well-made keychain reads as a small gift rather than an advertisement, which is exactly the impression you want it to leave.
Using keychains effectively
Attractive design
The design has to work at a small size. Simplify the logo rather than shrinking a complex one until it is unreadable.
Distribute them well
Handing them out at a relevant moment — a purchase, a signup, an event — matters more than the quantity distributed.
Add value beyond the logo
A bottle opener, a torch or a trolley coin makes the keychain useful in its own right, which keeps it in circulation.
Tie it into your other campaigns
A keychain works best as part of a set rather than as an isolated giveaway.
Custom keychain manufacturing
Why work with us
We produce keychains in our own workshop using the same laser, casting and printing equipment we use for medals and plaques. That means one supplier can cover a mixed order, and pricing stays at production level.
How to order
Send your logo, the material you have in mind and the quantity. We will reply with a mockup and a price.
The ordering process
Step 1: consultation and design plan
We agree the material, size and finish that suit your budget.
Step 2: custom design
Your artwork is adapted for the chosen production method.
Step 3: design confirmation
You approve a mockup before anything goes into production.
Step 4: placing the order
Quantity and schedule are confirmed and the deposit settled.
Step 5: production and delivery
Manufacturing runs in our workshop and the finished keychains are shipped.
Step 6: receiving your order
Check the delivery and tell us immediately if anything is not as agreed.
Keychain materials
Metal
Cast or etched zinc alloy and brass. The most durable option and the best for detailed relief.
Plastic
The cheapest option at volume, moulded or printed in full colour.
PVC rubber
Soft, flexible and produced in custom shapes — good for character or product-shaped designs.
Leather
Genuine or synthetic, embossed or laser engraved. The most premium-feeling option.
Fabric
Woven or printed straps, often paired with a metal ring and clip.
Acrylic
Laser cut to any outline and printed in full colour. Economical and very flexible on shape.
